Fund for Women in Development (FWID)
Organization Overview
Fund for Women in Development (FWID) is a community-based organization located in the South West region of Cameroon. Founded in 1999 and revised in 2018, FWID obtained its operational license in 2021. Led by Mrs. Sanjoh Rose Agbor Egbe as the President, our organization is dedicated to promoting gender equality, fighting against gender-based violence, and improving the lives of women and girls.

Services
At FWID, we offer a range of services and products designed to support our mission. These include capacity building for community-based organizations and leaders, counseling services, legal assistance, and protection for survivors of gender-based violence.
Programs and Impact
Discover our impactful programs aimed at combating gender-based violence and human trafficking, providing WASH services, improving women’s participation in economic activities, and supporting survivors. Through our programs, we have positively impacted the lives of countless women and girls in the Southwest region.
